Femmes et Corsaires was written by Jean de La Beuque, who's name also appears as an illustrator for some books. Some mention De La Beuque was a pseudonym from Alan Mac Clyde and that he killed this pseudonym off, for some reason. Some books contain notes from editors or Mac Clyde regarding La Beuque’s illness, recovery and death.
Art was done by Gaston Smit.
