Swiss Jim

~ date of birth unknown ~

Pseudonym for a Swiss/French Artist, referred to as 'Swiss Jim' (so this artist might not be confused with the other 'German' Jim)
He also used the pseudonym Gil. There is nearly nothing known for this artist, a collector knew he was originally from Geneva, he worked as a technical draftsman for a design company and died during a holiday trip in 1964.

His drawings are in many SM books (mostly in the Irwing Klaw range), like the Magazine 'Subjugating a Male Bondage Model' and the book Baroness of Torture Museum. One of his best-known creations was 'Baroness Steel', a feature that was also collected in Bizarre Comix issue 5 in 1976.
There is also a french album, titled Claudine ou l'éducation des filles vicieuses, published ca 1950. The artworks in this album convinced me that some other artworks I had stored in the Anonymous Bdsm Art Gallery belong to this artist as well, although I keep having second thoughts because these colored artworks have a different vibe then the black and white ones do.

Non members can view a gallery on the Bondage Art Blog.

Some artworks might be in the albums twice, when I first started collecting Jim's art I only found seperate artworks and devided these amongst the subject albums. Later I was able to share complete stories as they were published, I am trying to browse the entire collection to avoid artworks being shared twice.

10 albums/174 artworks
